How it works
Who employs your team, where the money goes, and how you leave.
Before you sign, you should know exactly how the engagement is structured. This is our standard model, in plain language.
The four steps
Consultation & proposal
A working session on your team, timeline and budget. You receive a written proposal with every fee itemised.
Set up
Company licensing, legal structure and office — your presence in Syria, established under your ownership.
Build the team
We define the roles, search, screen and hire — then onboard people into the way your team already works.
Run it every month
HR, payroll and compliance handled locally, with everything visible in your Client Workspace.
Who does what
The contractual chain in our standard model. Anything different for your situation is agreed in writing before work begins.
- Who employs your team?
- Your own Syrian company — the entity we license and set up for you. Your employees work for your company, not for StaffSyria.
- Who contracts with you?
- StaffSyria, under an engagement letter followed by a formal services contract.
- Who invoices, and for what?
- StaffSyria invoices only its own fees — setup, placement and managed operations — monthly in USD, net 15.
- Who pays salaries?
- Your company, from its own funds. We prepare payroll and coordinate disbursement; we never hold your payroll money.
- Who handles tax and social insurance?
- We prepare and submit the filings on your company's behalf. The obligations belong to your company as the employer; receipts are stored in your workspace.
- Who carries employment liability?
- Your company, as the employer. Our job is to keep contracts, policies and filings compliant with Syrian Labour Law so that it stays well managed.
- Rent and utilities?
- Paid by your company directly. We negotiate and coordinate them; we don't mark them up.
StaffSyria is not an Employer of Record: we do not employ your staff on your behalf. We set up and run your own company's operations.
How money moves
The monthly payroll cycle
We prepare
Salaries, joiners, leavers, changes and deductions for the month.
You approve
One click in your Client Workspace. Nothing is paid before you approve.
Your company pays
Disbursement through your company's payment route, coordinated by us.
Everything is filed
Statements, tax and social-insurance filings stored in your workspace.
If you leave: the 60-day transition
We never hold entity paperwork, payroll data or contracts back. The handover runs on schedule, even in a dispute.
Days 1–7
End date confirmed in writing; you nominate a local representative.
Days 8–30
Payroll handover: roster, payment history, filing records and a guide to running the next cycle.
Days 31–50
HR duties and open items transferred; licences, registrations and lease documents delivered with a signed inventory.
Days 51–60
Workspace access closes on the end date and we confirm in writing that the handover is complete.
